Day three and the pace has certainly picked up, Ed from www.fashionwirepress.com is on my case to get images to Yasmin to process, like all teenagers she soon has it down-patt processing a show in less than 45 minuets then its back MSN & MYSPACE to twitter to her peeps back here in NZ...thats my girl.

This next show I'm shooting on the floor and the focus on shoes and accessories, its fast and furious and this is where a photographer appreciates a model who knows how to hold a bag! A show fit for the rich and famous... this is the very glamour's Designer Diane von Furstenburg, Diane has partied with the best of them, including Andy Warhol and Bianca Jagger, so she knows glamour like no one else:

The models cattle run is tight and abundant as is the wool in their poms poms, lighting had trouble reaching the girls down the  back, as these girls are giants! All 5’10+ in flat feet. 

In-between-shows I meet Shawn Ross,17 years, he was discovered (as everyone seems to be these days) in a You Tube video, then quickly picked up by Djamee, a boutique modeling agency, and cast in short order for pictorials in magazines like Trace, Another Magazine and in an ad campaign for Gap. People have so many perceptions of me," says Ross. "There're the futuristic robot or alien, or the God-sent child or something crazy. I'm immune to it." Still, in a realm of a great deal of sameness seen on men's runways, where blending appears the palate of the day, race and colour aside, Ross just might still be too Other.

I then sashay with my SONY to Erin Fetherston in the Promenade, one of my favorite shows for the day. Fetherston's Fall collection was influenced by Hans Christian Anderson/Tin Soldier, quite magical! But on our way we are 'whooooed upped' by the man himself "Richard Renda" creator of www.totallycool.net and maestro of the camera pit since day one of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Weeks at Bryant Park.
