New term for the day; “B Tape”, meaning behind the scenes and where you will find me for Monarchy, I just want to say for the record; OMG! yum! look at what I am paid to photograph!! McHotty (Shawn Sutton) and # 2 (Sean OPry ranked top model in the world) two of my three favorites (you have to wait for Baby Phat for number 3)..Yup, very hard to keep focused..and thats not the camera. Poor Yas, she’s getting cabin fever in the media room so asking McHotty to take his top off was just for her….Yeah Right!

Really though this is hard work, shows are every hour on the hour, there are eighty Designers showing over the week at Bryant Park and two hundred presentations and shows so off site.

My job today is to shoot back stage, models getting ready, celebrities visiting to wish designers good luck models in their first looks, sounds easy, yeah-no it's fun and I'm loving it. Mean while Ed is front of house shooting front row and camera pit….boring.

Later on in the day Yasmin and I were on the runway shooting front row before the Venexiana show, an older gentleman came up to us with another photographer and asked if he could get a photograph with me, I introduced him to Yas who was breathing down my neck and he was OMG this is your daughter??? (Sister more like it, lol) Yasmin is 16 and 5'10 over six foot in heels, he whips out his card and he is Kati Stern Husband of the designer 'Venexiana', You must come back and audition for next seasons show, I hardly recognized her, she was an oversized grin on legs, priceless little moment.

By the time we finished our runway networking he he I had to shoot Venexiana from the side, as there was no show finding a space amoungst the camera pit, I really like these images as I've managed to capture some of the magic you never see from the pit view point.
