There is only one way to start fashion week and that is with a dam good party, and we had two with our names on them; V.I.P of course. First up was the launch of the BMW new 7 Series in conjunction with VOGUE. Spinning our wheels with great excitement between Yasmin and I on 'what to wear' we VOGUED IT in two beautiful evening dresses by Trelise Cooper and Danny in tow looking fly in Michael Pattison, who showed for the first time at Air New Zealand’s Fashion Week 08.

This is what it's all about for me, New York’s Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, the people the glamour and the experience all at the core in the Big Apple, and the sweetest bite of all is our tree hut at the Chelsea Hotel. My first introduction to NYC was in 1995 where I became a resident at the Chelsea. Back in '95 I had come up under contract as a Ford Model, although on that tour I never made it onto the Fashion Week Runway… I’m here now and the bonus is with daughter Yasmin who I then left behind in NZ is now along side Mother Dear for the journey to continue.

New term for the day; “B Tape”, meaning behind the scenes and where you will find me for Monarchy, I just want to say for the record; OMG! yum! look at what I am paid to photograph!! McHotty (Shawn Sutton) and # 2 (Sean OPry ranked top model in the world) two of my three favorites (you have to wait for Baby Phat for number 3)..Yup, very hard to keep focused..and thats not the camera.
Poor Yas, she’s getting cabin fever in the media room so asking McHotty to take his top off was just for her….Yeah Right!
